Job Description: This position is for hardworking participants who are able to take inititiave and keep an eye on the general upkeep of all camp buildings, as well as the camp property. This individual must be able to follow instructions, communicate clearly, as well as working effectively without direct supervision. This individual should have some experience with maintaining facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
● Responsible for the general upkeep of the camp buildings, bathrooms, floors, site, roads and fences as well as site services
● Must be prepared to assist with minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
● Working with the horses will be required (ie. assisting with feeding), however, no riding experience is required
● Must enjoy working with people, have strong organizational skills and basic knowledge of related information
Qualifications
● The Camp Operators must attend our Senior Pre-camp Training (June 17 – 20) as well as Pre-Camp Training from June 23 to June 27th, 2025. Work in the weeks and months leading up to camp is also potentially available.
● Day Camp runs from June 30 to August 29th, 2025. Operations staff are asked to commit to the entire summer, if possible.
● This is a day camp position. Living on site is unavailable. Day camp bus stops are available in London, ON.
● Staff must provide their own lunches and snacks.
● Standard First Aid and CPR C
● Clear Background Check
● Valid G Driver’s License is an asset
